It's a relationship. You can't make God love you more. I'll tell you that when you try to earn your salvation or do good deeds expecting something, you may come up with nothing because God fills you through a personal relationship with him. Seek the Lord first, wholeheartedly, and listen closely to the call on your life. It may not be audible, but he will answer you if you get the distractions out of your way.
